Fingerprint-Based Background Checks
Implementation Delayed until January 1, 2012
Effective January 1, 2012, fingerprint-based background checks will be required for all long-term care workers that provide in-home or residential long term care services. The new policies and procedures needed to implement these changes will be developed and added into existing WAC. The WAC process will be completed by December, 2009.
