Chapter 388-110 WAC - Contracted Residential Care
Dear Boarding Home Provider:
Enclosed is a copy of the final amended chapter 388-110 Washington Administrative Code (WAC), Contracted Residential Care, which became effective September 1, 2004. This rule only affects boarding homes that have an Assisted Living, Enhanced Adult Residential Care, Enhanced Adult Residential Care- Specialized Dementia Care, or Adult Residential Care contract with the department. Also enclosed are copies of:
- T wo CR 103 (Rule Making Order) forms (Original WSR # 04-16-063 and Correction WSR # 04-18-001);
- CR 103 - Attachment A: Lists of sections of WAC that have been repealed and amended;
- Concise Explanatory Statement: Summary of the changes between the proposed and final rule; and
- A document that lists some of the changes and major provisions of the rule.
You will find that many of the requirements that were previously in WAC 388-110 are no longer in this rule. However, a great many of these deleted requirements are now found in Chapter 388-78A WAC, the boarding home licensing rules.
If you would like the details of how Chapter 388-110 WAC was amended, you may view the changes on line at http://www1.dshs.wa.gov/msa/rpau/1033418.html.
If you have questions regarding contract requirements, please contact your RCS Field Manager.
Sincerely,
