WAC 388-110 Contracted Residential Care Services

Dear Boarding Home Provider:

In a recent letter, ADSA: BH #2004-005, dated, April 7, 2004, you were notified of the department’s intent to amend Chapter 388-78A WAC - Boarding Home Licensing Rules. The proposed amendments to Chapter 388-78A WAC were filed with the Office of the Code Reviser on

May 19, 2004.

In ADSA: BH #2003-001, dated January 24, 2003, you were notified of the department’s intent to amend Chapter 388-110 WAC. The proposed amendments for Chapter 388-110 WAC - Contracted Residential Care Services, were filed on June 7, 2004.

The proposed amendments to both rules are posted on the Boarding Home Rules Web page at http://www.aasa.dshs.wa.gov/professional/bhrule/default.htm. If you do not have access to a computer, you will need to identify a computer resource in your community, such as the public library or school. If you need further assistance in acquiring this information, call (360) 725-2592.

Public hearings on the proposed amendments will be held as follows:

If you are unable to attend a hearing, you may submit your written comments on the proposed amendments to WAC 388-78A and 388-110. Comments must be received no later than 5:00 p.m.

The department intends to adopt proposed amendments to both rules, WAC 388-78A and WAC 388-110, by July 30, 2004, with an effective date of September 1, 2004.
