BOARDING HOME WAC 388-78A
Dear Boarding Home Provider:
Enclosed is a copy of the CR-101 Preproposal Statement of Inquiry on Chapter 388-78A WAC - Boarding Home Licensing Rules, which are to go into effect September 1, 2004. The department proposes amending this chapter in order to:
- Update the chapter to be consistent with 2004 legislation, and
- Correct grammatical and spelling errors, if any.
We will be following the rule-making process that is required by law. This includes a public comment period and public hearing.

As progress is made on the rules, we will post information to the Amended
Boarding Home Licensing Rules web page at

It is our intention to complete this rule adoption process by September 1, 2004, which coincides with the implementation of Chapter 388-78A WAC, as adopted in July of 2003.
