ADULT FAMILY HOME PROVIDER TRAINING
Dear Adult Family Home Provider:
Residential Care Services (RCS) will offer Adult Family Home (AFH) provider training on the revised reinspection process and a review of the mandated reporter requirements, including this year’s changes. Following is detailed information about the training scheduled for your area this year:
DATE: September 26, 2003
HOURS: 9:30 a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m.
CITY: Spokane
LOCATION: Spokane Civic Theatre - 1020 N. Howard
- The training will be held in the theatre.
- The training is free of charge. In order to be able to accommodate all interested parties, it is necessary to limit the number of participants from each home to a maximum of two.
- Pre-registration is not required; a sign-in sheet will be available upon arrival.
- There is free parking on Dean Street. There is also an arena lot that charges approximately $3 per day.
- Coffee will be provided, but any other food or beverage will be the responsibility of the attendee. There is a concession stand on the premises. No food or drink is allowed in the theatre, but is permissible in the lobby. A number of restaurants are close by, including a shopping center with numerous eateries just a block away.
RCS will continue to hold the regional forums throughout the year. These forums are designed to enable providers, provider associations and advocates the opportunity to share their concerns and views with RCS staff and each other, and to provide the department with the opportunity to share information. LOCATION: The Armory - 2501 Ahtanum Road
- The training will be held in the drill room.
- The training is free of charge. In order to be able to accommodate all interested parties, it is necessary to limit the number of participants from each home to a maximum of two.
- Pre-registration is not required; a sign-in sheet will be available upon arrival.
- Free parking is available on-site.
- No food or beverage will be provided and is the responsibility of the attendee. The closest restaurant is located at the airport, which is approximately 2 miles away.

- The training is free. In order to be able to accommodate all interested parties, it is necessary to limit the number of participants from each home to a maximum of two.
- Pre-registration is not required; a sign-in sheet will be available upon arrival.
- There is plenty of free parking.
- No food or beverages will be offered and are the responsibility of the attendee. At this particular location, no food or drink is allowed inside the auditorium. There is a cafeteria on-site and a number of restaurants within walking distance.

- Parking is free on-site and overflow parking is available next door at the funeral home.
- Ice water will be provided; any other food or beverage is the responsibility of the attendee. There is a restaurant right next door.
