AMENDMENTS TO WAC 388-76-655 – AFH LIABILITY INSURANCE
Dear Adult Family Home Provider:
Enclosed is a Rule-Making Order (CR103) for amendments to 388-76-655 General Management and Administration—Adult Family Homes. The amended rule was filed on June 19, 2003 and is scheduled to be adopted on July 20, 2003.
This rule proposes to eliminate the liability insurance requirement for adult family homes. After the requirement is eliminated, the decision to have liability insurance will be left for the adult family home provider to make.
Again, please note that the rule becomes effective starting July 20, 2003. Please direct any questions about liability insurance to your associations.
