Dear Boarding Home Provider:

As you are probably aware, we are currently in the process of revising the licensing rules for boarding homes.? Residential Care Services is very interested in obtaining input from residents on these rules.? As a result, we have established a contract with Resident Councils of Washington (RCW) to assist us in this process.

RCW will be conducting feedback sessions to provide residents an opportunity to review and comment on the approved recommendations developed in workgroups.? We ask that you please encourage your residents and/or family members to attend one of the sessions at the following sites closest to you:

A second series of meetings will occur in the spring to provide residents the opportunity to?review and comment on draft rule language.? The dates and times of these meetings will be announced in a later letter.
