The Washington Association of Housing and Services for the Aging, the Northwest Assisted Living Facilities Association, and DSHS worked together to develop a series of three workshops designed to address important issues in operating boarding homes.?

A brochure describing these workshops is enclosed for your information.? Please copy and distribute this brochure to your staff and other interested persons.?

Management of challenging behaviors, and resident assessments and monitoring are among the more important issues facing boarding home providers today.? These workshops have been designed to help you and your staff effectively address these issues.? These workshops are valuable resources to help boarding homes better serve residents.
