RE: Custodial Sexual Misconduct

Dear Boarding Home Provider:

The purpose of this letter is to provide information regarding amendments to RCW 43.43.830 and RCW 70.125.030 by the 1999 legislature. First and Second Degree Custodial Sexual Misconduct were added to the list of disqualifying crimes precluding individuals with a conviction from working with, or having unsupervised access to developmentally disabled persons or vulnerable adults during the course of his or her employment or involvement with a business or organization.

Please route this information to appropriate staff.
