SUBJECT: INTERIM GUIDELINE #28

Dear Boarding Home Provider:

Enclosed is the newly issued Interim Guideline # 28 that addresses the use of tube feedings in boarding homes. The issuance of this guideline is not intended to imply that boarding homes must admit or retain a resident who requires tube feeding, but rather explains the conditions under which a resident who requires tube feedings may be served.

Please call your Area Manager if you have any questions regarding this Interim Guideline, or questions regarding serving residents who require tube feedings.
