SUBJECT: BOARDING HOME INTERIM GUIDELINE # 22: LICENSED ROOMS LICENSED ROOM LIST

Dear Boarding Home Provider:

Enclosed you will find Boarding Home Interim Guideline # 22: Licensed Rooms. This guideline explains how a licensed room list is developed, and how boarding homes are to notify Aging and Disability Services Administration when there is a change in the licensed resident bed capacity, or in the use of resident rooms (i.e. adding, subtracting, or changing the use of licensed rooms). This guidelines takes effect immediately.

Please add this Interim Guideline #22 to the Interim Guidelines that were previously distributed.

Also enclosed is a copy of the revised form that Aging and Disability Services Administration is using for the Licensed Room List. The use of this form will be phased in and completely in place by September 1, 2000. In the mean time, boarding homes needing to notify AASA of changes in the use or number of licensed rooms should follow the procedures outlined in Interim Guideline # 22.

If you have any questions regarding Interim Guideline # 22, please call your Area Manager.

Sincerely,

Patricia Lashway, Director
