2009 AFH "Dear Provider" Letters

CR 101 FILED PROPOSING AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 388-76 WAC

Dear Adult Family Home Provider:

The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the department is considering amending sections to chapter 388-76 WAC, Adult Family Homes and has begun the rule-making process.  The department has filed the enclosed CR-101 document with the Office of the Code Reviser. 

Different terms are used throughout the adult family home WAC chapter that may mean similar or the same thing.  We are considering amending these rules to possibly consolidate terms and simplify the rules and for clarity.  Please check the internet site mentioned above as we will be posting draft language for review and comment before filing the proposed rule with the CR-102.

The CR-101 document can also be found on the Aging and Disability Services Administration internet website, Adult Family Home professional page at http://www.adsa.dshs.wa.gov/professional/afh.htm under the heading "Adult Family Home Rule Filings".
