2009 AFH "Dear Provider" Letters

CR 101 FILED PROPOSING AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 388-76 WAC

Dear Adult Family Home Provider:

The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the department is considering amending and adding new sections to chapter 388-76 WAC, Adult Family Homes and has begun the rule-making process.  The department has filed the enclosed CR-101 document with the Office of the Code Reviser. 
The CR-101 document can also be found on the Aging and Disability Services Administration internet website on the Adult Family Home professional page at: http://www.adsa.dshs.wa.gov/professional/afh.htm under the heading "Adult Family Home Rule Filings".

The purpose of amending these rules is to consider making editorial and clarifying changes, and to make it consistent with current laws and standards.  Please check the internet site mentioned above as we will be posting draft language for review and comment before filing the proposed rule with the CR-102 (the formal phase of rulemaking).
