2009 AFH "Dear Provider" Letters

ELIMINATION OF ADVISORY BOARD AND COMMITTEE

Dear Adult Family Home Provider:

The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the 2009 legislature just passed Engrossed Senate Bill 5995 which eliminates certain boards, committees and commissions.  The Adult Family Home Advisory Committee (AFHAC) is among the ones to be eliminated effective June 30, 2009.

The Department will continue to seek input from individuals associated with adult family homes when amending rules and developing policies.  The process for you to provide feedback will not change and the department will continue to give you the opportunity to review and comment on any rule-making.
