PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 388-76 WAC

Dear Adult Family Home Providers and Interested Parties:

In August 2008, the department began the rule-making process to clarify requirements and make grammatical corrections in Chapter 388-76 WAC Adult Family Home Minimum Licensing Requirements.  Recently, the department filed two sets of CR 102s, a more formal phase of the rule making process.

Both CR 102s, including draft rule language, are available on the ADSA website at http://www.adsa.dshs.wa.gov/professional/afh.htm under the heading, “AFH Rule Filings”.

You may submit any comments either in person at the public hearing listed below or in writing to the department’s Rules and Policies Assistance Unit (RPAU).

The formal hearing for the proposed rules is scheduled:
