2008 AFH "Dear Provider" Letters

PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 388-76 WAC

Dear Adult Family Home Providers and Interested Parties:

In February 2008, the department began the rule-making process to clarify requirements and make grammatical corrections in Chapter 388-76 WACAdult Family Home Minimum Licensing Requirements.  On October 8, 2008 the department filed the CR 102, a more formal phase of the rule making process.

Enclosed is the CR 102, including draft rule language.  You can also access this information on the ADSA internet at http://www.adsa.dshs.wa.gov/professional/afh.htm under the heading, “AFH Rule Filings”

You may submit any comments either in person at the public hearing listed below or in writing to the department’s Rules and Policies Assistance Unit (RPAU).

The formal hearing for the proposed rules is scheduled:
