AMENDING CHAPTER 388-76 WAC
Dear Adult Family Home Provider:
Residential Care Services is considering possible amendments to several sections in Chapter 388-76 WAC - Adult family home minimum licensing requirements.
The entire Chapter 388-76 WAC was re-written, codified and became effective on January 1, 2008. During WAC overview sessions the Department received input from stakeholders and staff that indicated a possible need to do further analysis and make some clarifying changes to some sections of the WAC. In addition, during the 2008 legislative session, there were statutory changes requiring changes to the WAC.
The department has filed two CR-101s with the Office of the Code Reviser to begin the rule making process. Copies of both filings are enclosed.
