Dear Adult Family Home Provider/Interested Party:?

Enclosed you will find a draft of amendments to the Adult Family Home rules.? Please note that these rules are draft only and that current regulations remain in effect.? The draft amendments affect WAC 388-76-61510 - When must the Negotiated Care Plan be Developed? and WAC 388-76-640 - Resident Medications.?

We have worked with stakeholders over many months in the development of these draft rules.? However, it is important to have as much input as possible before we begin the formal, legal process of adopting a final rule.? I am interested in your response to this final draft.?? After we receive and consider your comments, the next step in the rules development process will be to redraft and officially file proposed rules with the code reviser.? When proposed rules are filed, we will send you a copy and you will again have an opportunity to comment.?
