Dear Adult Family Home Provider:

Understanding and complying with charting and documentation requirements is an important part of being a successful provider.? The department, in cooperation with the Adult Family Home Association of Washington is sponsoring a training that focuses upon these requirements.? The training will be 2.5 hours in length and will be offered in the following locations:

?   October 12, 2001 ? 11:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Federal Way Executel, 31611 20^th S, Federal Way

?   October 16, 2001 ? 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Old Country Buffet, NE corner of Rowan & Division, Spokane

?   November 13, 2001 -11:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Alfy?s Pizza, 4820 196^th ST SW (behind Fred Myers), Lynnwood

The trainer will be Wayne Vrona, currently a Program Manager with the Policy, Program Development, and Training Unit for Residential Care Services.? Wayne has six years of experience as an Adult Family Home Licensor.? His presentation will provide an opportunity to learn practical applications of the regulatory requirements for administrative and resident record keeping.
